Pioneering solar power plant in the 'building-integrated' category

Commissioned in 2008, the Laudun solar power plant is Akuo's first facility. It is a rooftop integrated plant located in a logistics building owned by FM Logistic in the Gard, in the Occitanie region. Its flexible and amorphous photovoltaic panels not only ensure the roof's watertightness but also produce 1.4 MW of electrical capacity.

The plant's 2,560 panels cover a surface area of 28,000 m², allowing for the maximization of this area's productive use. At the time of its inauguration, it was the largest roof-integrated photovoltaic plant in Europe utilizing flexible membranes.
